PEPPERONI PIZZA STICKS
These soft and chewy breadsticks are filled with cheese and pepperoni in every bite. They are great for lunch, snacks, appetizers, and grab-n-go dinners. They are fun to make with kids and the kids have even more fun eating them! My kids love these! Serve with a salad for a complete meal. You can cheat and use refrigerated pizza dough from the stores, but I like to make my own.

Steps:
- Make pizza dough: Mix the yeast in with the warm water. Combine all other dough ingredients in a mixing bowl. Add yeast water. Mix well with a dough hook. Add more flour if it is too sticky. Let sit for 5 minutes.
- Roll dough out on a lightly floured surface into a large rectangle.
- Cut dough into 16 even rectangles.
- Place 3 slices of pepperoni and 1 cheese stick on each.
- Seal the dough well around the pepperoni and cheese so the cheese won't melt out. Repeat with all of them.
- Place on a lightly greased baking sheet or a stone.
- Brush each one with the melted butter.
- Combine the seasonings and evenly sprinkle over each stick.
- Bake at 375 degrees for about 18 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
- Serve with warm pizza sauce for dipping, if desired.
CHEESY PEPPERONI PIZZA STICKS
I saw this on Facebook and thought it sounded like a perfect appetizer for snacking on while watching a football game. It's just a step above the baked cheese sticks we usually order at our favorite sports bar. I changed the herbs so it incorporated more of our favorite Italian herbs. But the recipe can easily be adjusted...

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
- 2. Roll pizza dough on a lightly greased baking sheet to form a large rectangle. Using a pizza cutter, slice the dough (width-wise) down the center. Then cut both halves into 5 rows each, so you have 10 equal size dough rectangles.
- 3. Arrange 4 pepperoni slices on each rectangle, then place a cheese stick on top of the pepperoni slices. Roll the dough around the cheese stick, and pinch the edges to seal the pepperoni and cheese inside.
- 4. In a saucepan, melt the butter. Stir the garlic powder and parsley into the butter. Brush the dough with the garlic butter.
- 5. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until the dough is a light golden brown. Serve as is, or you can serve them with marinara sauce for dipping.
