I came up with this idea one day when I was eating a piece of cake using the spoon I used to scoop peanut butter. I really liked the flavor, so I took another small piece of cake and added a little more peanut butter and my daughter like it too. 5 c cake crumbs (from your left over cakes from part)
1 c peanut butter, creamy (or crunchy)
1 c candy melts (any desired color)
sugar sprinkles and ground nuts (optional)

Steps:

  • 1. Mix cake crumbs and peanut butter until consistency allows you to form balls. (Use an ice cream scoop to get even sizes of balls). Form balls.
  • 2. Melt candy melts in a double boiler.
  • 3. Dip one end of a lollipop stick into the candy melt, about half an inch.
  • 4. Stick into the ball, almost all the way in.
  • 5. Put balls in a container and freeze for about 10 minutes.
  • 6. Dip each ball into melted candy melt and decorate with sprinkles or nuts.
