~ Peanut Butter No Bake Cookies ~ image

Another favorite of my Grams. Also a cousin to the Chocolate Fudge No Bake Cookies, I've posted. We love them both. Enjoy!

Categories     Cookies

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 cup(s) sugar
1/4 cup(s) butter
1/2 cup(s) milk
1 cup(s) peanut butter
pinch - salt
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
3 cup(s) instant oats - i used old fashioned

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, combine sugar, milk, butter.
  • Bring to a full rolling boil, then boil 1 minute, being precise on the time.
  • Add salt and vanilla and peanut butter. Stir until smooth.
  • Quickly stir in the oats and drop my teaspoonfuls on waxed paper or parchment paper.
  • Leave set to become firm, about 15 minutes.
  • Enjoy!
