got this recipe from doing it cheap with paw paw. a very southern gentleman that does thing cheap can be seen on you tube under ding it cheap Paw Paw's OLD FASHIONED Chocolate Gravy EASY

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 cup(s) milk
1 tablespoon(s) flour
2 tablespoon(s) cocoa powder
6 tablespoon(s) sugar
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
1 tablespoon(s) butter

Steps:

  • put all ingredients into a 2 quart mason jar with lid leave butter out to put into a sauce pan
  • close lid and shake till everything is good and mixed
  • melt butter in sauce pan and add the mixed ingredients and bring to a soft boil
  • boil till it reach's the gravy thickness you like , then pour over biscuits and enjoy
