PASTA WITH CLAM SAUCE - image

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 - 4 slices bacon
2 cans clams - use good brand only
1 clove garlic
red pepper flakes
1/2 lb. spaghetti
2 lge pats butter
2T. fresh parsley

Steps:

  • Boil water and cook pasta while frying bacon. Cut in pieces and drain. Heat o/o in small heavy skillet and saute garlic. Add few red pepper flakes and turn off heat. When ready to serve, toss clams in sauce with parsley and a little clam juice. Stir until clams heated through - about 1 minute. Might need a splash of dry white wine. Crumble bacon on top and serve.
