The other day I was watching the Cooking Channel and I saw one of the chefs make a parmesan crusted sandwich and I thought why not on a fresh slice of tomato?

Number Of Ingredients 4

2 large tomatoes
1/4 c fresh basil
2 c parmesan cheese
1/3 c italian dressing

  • 2. Preheat a large nonstick pan or griddle to medium heat for 2 minutes.
  • 3. Add 1/4 cup mounds of parmesan cheese to the pan. Use a spatula to flatten the mounds slightly, about the same size as the tomato slices.
