Pan Seared Scallops image

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 lb scallops, i buy the large ones
1/4 c chicken broth

Steps:

  • 1. In a small bowl, combine salt and sugar. Rinse and pat dry scallops. Season both sides with salt-sugar mixture. Heat oil in a non-stick skillet over medium high heat. Place scallops in pan and sear on each side for 3-4 minutes, or until cooked through and no longer opaque; remove from pan. Add chicken broth and scrape the bits from the bottom of the pan. Serve over scallops.
