OVERNIGHT PEA SALAD image

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 head of iceburg lettuce, rinsed
1/2 cup celery, green pepper, onion (Spanish or red) finely chopped
1 10 oz pkg. frozen peas cooked slightly and drained
1 pt. mayonaise (divide with sour cream if desired)
2 TBS sugar
6 oz shredded cheddar cheese
8 strips bacon cooked crisp, crumbled

Steps:

  • Shred lettuce. Line bottom of salad bowl. Then, layer celery, green pepper, onion, peas. Cover with mayonaise, spinkle with sugar, cheese and top with crumbled bacon. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
