Over-the-Top Sundae Cake image

I found this recipe on a Pillsbury Moist Supreme Classic Yellow Cake Mix. With the summer holidays and family gatherings coming, this would be a great desert to bring.

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 pkg pillsbury moist supreme classic yellow cake mix
1 c water
1/3 c cooking oil
3 eggs
2 quarts vanilla ice cream, softened
2 bananas sliced
12 marachino cherries, with stems
1 c smucker's pineapple topping
1 c smucker's hot fudge topping
chopped nuts (optional)

Steps:

  • 1. bake cake as directed in 13x9-inch pan. Cool completely. Spread softened ice cream on top of cooled cake. Freeze 2 hours or overnight. Just before serving, top with sliced bananas and cherries; drizzle with toppings and chopped nuts (optional). Store covered in freezer.
