OVEN FRIED BUFFALO WINGS image

This recipe can be made ahead of time and put on grill to reheat, about 5 minutes on each side.

blue cheese dressing
2 lb chicken wings
1/4 c all purpose flour
3 Tbsp butter, unsalted
1 Tbsp vinegar
1/2- 1 1/2 tsp red pepper sauce
1/4 tsp sea salt

Steps:

  • 1. Cut each chicken wing at joints to make 3 pieces discard tip.
  • 2. Cut off excess skin discard.
  • 3. Heat oven to 425 degrees.
  • 4. Heat 2 Tbsp. of the butter in a rectangular pan, 13-9-2 inches until melted.
  • 5. Coat chicken wing pieces with flour, shake off excess flour.
  • 6. Put wings in pan, Bake uncovered 20 minutes, turn wings bake uncovered 20 to 25 minutes longer, Drain.
  • 7. Melt last Tbsp. butter and mix with vinegar, pepper sauce and salt in 3 quart bowl until well blended.
  • 8. Add wings toss until evenly coated
  • 9. Serve with blue cheese or ranch dressing.
