Orange Pineapple Topping image

This is a yummy fruit topping that can be used as an ice cream topper or cake...love it!

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 can(s) 20 ounce - pineapple chunks
1 Tbsp each - brown sugar & granulated sugar
1/2 c orange juice
1 1/4 Tbsp corn starch
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp orange zest
1/2 tsp orange extract - optional

Steps:

  • 1. Place all ingredients in a saucepan, cook and stir until sauce boils & thickens. Cool, then server over ice cream or cake, or anything else you can think of... Yummy! Serving later over ice cream.
