ORANGE-GINGER FROSTING image

4 tbsp. unsalted butter, room temperature
8 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
1 cup confectioners sugar
2 tsp. freshly grated orange zest
2 tsp. freshly grated ginger

Steps:

  • Place butter in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment. Beat on medium-high speed until fluffy. Add cream cheese and sugar; beat until well combined and fluffy. Add zest, ginger, and a pinch of salt. Beat an additional 5 minutes until smooth and fluffy.
