delicious recipe that got it's name from my Aunt Rose. She asked to pass the open sesame chicken and after a good laugh, the name stuck

3 lbs chicken pieces
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup milk
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup nuts, chopped (optional)
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1 cup butter

Steps:

  • 1. Dip chicken into egg and milk mixture.
  • 2. Mix together flour, baking power, salt, paprika, pepper, nuts and sesame seeds'.
  • 3. Dredge chicken pieces in flour mixture.
  • 4, Melt butter in shallow baking pan. Put coated chicken pieces in pan, turning to butter both sides.
  • 5. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes, turn pieces over and bake for additional 30 minutes or until tender.
