Old Settlers Baked Beans image

First encountered this recipe at a Potluck and fell in love with it. So easy and so filling - a meal in itself. Add a salad or crusty bread for dipping - Yummm.

Number Of Ingredients 13

1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 lb bacon, diced
1 onion chopped
1/3 c sugar
1/3 c brown sugar
1/4 c ketchup
1/4 c barbecue sauce
1 Tbsp prepared mustard
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp chili powder
1 can(s) 16 oz pork and beans, undrained
1 can(s) 16oz kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 can(s) 16oz great northern beans, rinsed and drained

Steps:

  • 1. in large skillet cook beef, bacon and onion until meat is one. Drain any fat.
  • 2. Combine all remaining ingredients. Mix well.
  • 3. Place in a greased 2 1/2 qt baking dish. Cover and bake at 350 for 1 hour or until heated through.
