NOBBY APPLE CAKE
Steps:
- Pare apples and dice into 1/2 inch cubes. Cream shortening and sugar; add beaten egg. Add apples, nuts, vanilla and dry ingredients. Bake in a greased 8x8x2" pan in 350' oven for 45 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot or cold with or without whipped cream or ice cream. Freezes well.
