No-Fuss Beer BBQ Meatballs image

These crockpot barbecued meatballs are made with frozen prepared meatballs or your own homemade meatball recipe.

Number Of Ingredients 9

3 pounds frozen meatballs
2 medium onions, cut in wedges
1 bottle beer, 12 ounces
1 1/2 cups ketchup
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 cup brown sugar

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours.
  • About 96 meatballs, but this recipe is easy to cut in half. Also, you can use your own homemade meatballs, first browned in oven or skillet.
