New York Cheesecake image

I got this recipe from my aunt and it's always a smash hit! Add canned cherries or strawberry topping and it just tastes evil.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 1/2 lb cream cheese
1 c sugar
4 medium eggs (save 1 egg white)
3 Tbsp lemon juice (real lemon)
1 pt sour cream
14 gram cracker (ground in to fine crumbs)
1/2 c butter, melted

Steps:

  • 1. Crust: mix butter & gram crackers together press into cheesecake pan.
  • 2. Cheesecake: miss all but one egg white together until smooth pour in gramb cracker crust. (except sour cream) Bake at 350,35 mins remove from oven to cool 10 mins
  • 3. Add sour cream: beat egg white 2 tbls of sugar and mix until very stiff. fold in sour cream top cheesecake bake another 10 mins then set out to cool.
