Nectarine Bread Pudding Cobbler image

I bought some nectarines a while back and froze them so we could use them later. This is later. So today when I had enough dry bread to make a bread pudding I decided to combine the two to make a new desert at least for us and it turned out very nice. at least we like it.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 c heavy cream, cold + 1 cup cold water
1/2 c white sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 c sliced nectarines
4 c dry cubed bread

Steps:

  • 1. preheat oven 350'
  • 2. Whip cream, water, eggs vanilla and until well smooth. Fold in bread and let sit until the bread has soaked up all the liquid. Or cover and put in the frig. overnight.
  • 3. Spray the bottom of a 13X13 pan lightly with oil. Layer the nectarines on the bottom of the pan and gently top with the bread mixture. Bake for 30 - 40 minutes or until a toothpick come out clean.
  • 4. Remove from oven and let set up for 30 minutes. Top with Butter Pecan Ice Cream or Caramel Sauce or Whipped Cream and enjoy.
