Nashville Hot Chicken Dip image

3 package 8-ounce packages cream cheese
3/4 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup hot sauce (Texas Pete)
1 tablespoon honey
1 1/2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 cups frozen popcorn chicken, cooked according to package directions and chopped into small pieces
2 tablespoons hot sauce (Texas Pete)
1 tablespoon honey
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 handful sliced green onion and pickle slices for garnish

Steps:

  • Place cream cheese in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir cream cheese, add buttermilk and microwave for 1 more minute. Stir. Microwave 30 more seconds if necessary. Whisk until smooth.
  • Whisk in hot sauce, honey, cayenne pepper, and garlic powder.
  • Sprinkle chopped chicken on top.
  • In a small bowl, stir together hot sauce, honey, and cayenne. Drizzle over chicken.
  • Garnish with green onions and pickle slices and serve with tortilla chips.
