NANA'S PIEROGI FILLING image

Number Of Ingredients 5

1.5 pounds Potatoes
1 cup whole milk
chicken fat
1 pound Onions, chopped fine
2-3 cups Parmesan or Sharp Longhorn Cheese, shredded

Steps:

  • Peel and quarter the potatoes and drop into boiling salted water, until soft. Sauté onions until soft and translucent. Strain potatoes and mash with milk, chicken fat and onions. Add cheese to hot potato mixture and stir to combine.
