MUSHROOM & BRIE APPETIZER image

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 round wheel of brie - 500g (increase or decrease size of brie depending upon # of guests)
1/4 lb brown cremini mushrooms
1/4 lb portabello mushrooms
1/4 lb shitake mushrooms
1/4 lb oyster mushrooms
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp olive oil
1 cedar plank treated for
grilling
Ace Rosemary & Sea Salt crackers

Steps:

  • Submerge & soak cedar plank in water for 30 min up to a max of 2 hours. Clean mushrooms, slice & cut in small chunks Heat butter & oil together in a pan & fry mushrooms until cooked and juices have dried. Heat barbeque and keep at a medium temp. Place brie on moistened cedar plank and put on barbeque. Close lid and let brie bake for approx. 20 min until brie wheel has started to swell. Brie should be runny & hot when cut. Remove brie from barbeque and place on platter with mushrooms and Ace crackers.
