Muffins That Taste Like Donuts image

I have made these for years my family loves them,a treat my son in law enjoys when I take a box of them over

Number Of Ingredients 13

1 3/4 c all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/3 c canola oil
3/4 c white sugar
1 egg
3/4 c milk
AFTER BAKED TOPPING
1/2 c melted margarine
1/3 c white sugar
1 tsp cinnamon

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat Oven 350 Mix first five muffin ingredients,in a larger bowl mix all wet ingredients,to wet,add dry alternate with milk.
  • 2. Divide between each muffin cup each 1/2 full,bake 20-25 mins will be light in color
  • 3. After baked cool 5 mins dip tops in melted marg,then dip in sugar Makes about a dozen, delicious you will get rave reviews
