MRS SALTER'S PEANUT BUTTER PIE image

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 1/2 cups or 5 ounces (3 cups or 10 ounces to double) finely ground cookies such as chocolate wafers. Or Chocolate Teddy Grahams.
5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1/3 cup sugar
1/8 salt
1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup sugar
8 ounces cream cheese
1 cup crunchy peanut butter
1 cup confectioners' sugar

Steps:

  • Stir together crust ingredients and press onto bottom and 1 inch up side of a buttered 9-inch pie pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Cool Completely. Whip cream with 1/4 cup sugar. Mix all other ingredients until smooth and fold in whipped cream until well blended. Pour mixture into crust and chill for several hours. Top with more whipped cream, chocolate shavings, and chopped peanut butter cups.
