Mr. Bill's Stuffed Merlot Burgers image

Mr. Bill came up with these one summer and they have been a hit with family and friends ever since.Wine burgers stuffed with cheese. thanks mr bill...xoxo

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 1/2 pound(s) ground beef
1 cup(s) merlot wine
2-3 clove(s) garlic, minced
4 slice(s) smoked gouda cheese
a few pinch(es) salt and pepper to taste
2 slice(s) green onions, sliced thin

Steps:

  • In pan bring wine to a boil and reduce to about 1/2 cup. cool.
  • Mix the hamburger with the green onon, garlic, salt, pepper, and merlot wine. form into 8 thin patties, top 4 patties with the gouda slices and place other patty on top seal ends well. BBQ on grill med. heat until desired doneness, about 10 minutes or so.
  • Pass the fixings and enjoy :)
