MONSTER COOKIES: BIG BATCH image

Yield 80 large cookies

Number Of Ingredients 12

1 dozen eggs
4 cups sugar
1 1/4 pound butter (5 sticks)
1/4 cup vanilla
2 pounds brown sugar
3 pounds peanut butter
1 Tablespoon light corn syrup
14 cups oatmeal
8 teaspoons baking powder
1 pound plain M & M's
1 pound semisweet chocolate chips
1 pound chopped pecans (optional)

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Beat butter and sugars together. Add 1 egg at a tme, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla. Next add peanut butter, corn syrup, baking soda and oatmeal. Beat well. Stir in M & M's, chocolate chips and nuts. Use ice cream scoop and fill just to top. Put on baking sheet and flatten slightly. Bake for 15-17 (we do 17 in our oven) minutes, depending how big the cookies are. Remove from oven and let cool on pan for several minutes (about 10 minutes). Transfer to cool on a rack.
