Mom's Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies image

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 1/2 cups butter or 1 1/2 cups margarine
1 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
3 large eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
3 teaspoons warm water
3/4 teaspoon salt
3 3/4 cups flour
12 ounces chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Cream together the butter & both sugars.
  • Add the remaining ingredients except chocolate chip; mix well.
  • Mix in chocolate chips.
  • Drop onto parchment-lined cookie sheets.
  • Bake at 350° for about 10 minutes or until golden.
