This is my mom's rice pudding recipe. It is perfect and amazing (when she makes it). Although I have been able to make most of her recipes, this one eludes me. I have yet to make it as good as she does. This is why I don't have a picture of it-YET.

Steps:
- Mix milk, water, rice, and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat for 45 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Add raisins (if applicable) and continue to cook for 15 minutes more.
- Remove from heat
- In a separate bowl, mix egg yolks, vanilla, and cream
- Pour egg mixture into pudding pan
- Pour mixture into a bowl and allow to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes, until a crust forms on top
- Sprinkle with cinnamon (optional), cover, and refrigerate
