- Put all the ingredients except the olive oil in a food processor and blend to a paste. (If the ingredients are sticking, add a few drops of olive oil). Then add the olive oil a little at a time, continuing to blend, until the mixture resembles whipped heavy cream. Serve with 1 pound of pasta. You can add a drizzle of olive oil to the pasta before mixing in the sauce, if necessary, to keep pasta from sticking.
