Mom's Pecan Pie image

This is a pie that my Mom made when we were growing up. The Karo Maple syrup was just the right touch that made it better than any other pecan pie.

Number Of Ingredients 8

3 eggs
1/2 c sugar
1 c karo maple syrup
1/8 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 Tbsp all-purpose flour
2 c chopped pecans
1 9" pie crust

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven at 350 F.
  • 2. Beat eggs well in a medium mixing bowl.
  • 3. Add flour, salt and sugar and mix well.
  • 4. Add remaining ingredients in order given.
  • 5. Pour into uncooked 9" pie shell. DO NOT PRICK PIE CRUST.
  • 6. Bake at 350 F for 10 minutes.
  • 7. Reduce heat to 300F and bake for 45 - 50 minutes or until pie is firm in the middle.
