Steps:
- 1. Add 1 tbsp. olive oil to medium hot skillet with lid and heat oil for 2 minutes.
- 2. Sauté garlic in pan 1 minute and add crushed tomatoes and tomato paste. Mix well.
- 3. Add shredded basil, 1 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. ground pepper. Stir sauce, set temperature to low, partially add lid and cook 20 minutes. Stir occasionally.
- 4. Turn off heat and use for any recipe calling for marinara. Buon Appetito!
