How to make Mississippi Crack Dip

Number Of Ingredients 11

1. 8 oz cream cheese
2. 16 oz. sour cream
3. 8 ounces Velveeta cheese, cubed in small chunks
4. 1 pound Italian sausage, cooked, rinsed and drained.
5. 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
6. 1/4 green onion, finely chopped
7. 1/4 teaspoon curry powder
8. 1 teaspoon onion powder
9. Dash of garlic salt
10. 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
This dip is also known as hissy fit dip. Apparently, when it was first served at a tailgating party, it went so quickly that the southern bell who didn't get any through a hissy fit.

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.
  • Once mixed well, transfer to baking dish and bake for 60 minutes.

  • Best to serve with crackers, chips or veggies too!
