Mint Fudge image

Number Of Ingredients 8

5 cups Sugar
1/2 cup butter (unsalted)
1 bag Semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 bag Guittard Green Mint Chocolate Chips
14 ounces marshmallow fluff
1 teaspoon mint extract
1 can evaporated milk (12 oz)
1 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Soften butter
  • Stir sugar, salt, butter, evaporated milk, and marshmallow fluff together
  • Stir mixture constantly over medium heat until sugar melts and "softball" consistency is reached - about 25 minutes
  • Turn off heat and stir in mint extract
  • Fold in semi-sweet and mint chips, stirring to melt - reserve a few green mint chips
  • Pour mixture into parchment paper lined pans or trays
  • Place reserved green mint chips on top for decoration
  • Cool for several hours before cutting
