Microwave Peach Jam image

Number Of Ingredients 5

4 cups frozen sliced peaches, thawed
5 tablespoons powdered pectin, fruit
1 tablespoon lemon juice, fresh
3/4 teaspoon mace, ground
4 packets artificial sweetener (Equal)

Steps:

  • 1. Mash peaches with a potato masher.2. Combine peaches with pectin, lemon juice, and mace in a deep 2-quart casserole.3. Cover with casserole lid and microwave on HIGH for 2 minutes. Stir well.4. Cover and microwave and additional 3-4 minutes.5. Cool for 10 minutes and stir in sweetener. Pour into freezer containers cover and freeze.6. To serve, let jam thaw in refrigerator.
