Microwave Banana Pudding image

This dessert is requested a lot around our house. Easy to make and so delicious.

Number Of Ingredients 9

1/3 c sugar
2 Tbsp cornstarch
1/8 tsp salt
2 c milk
2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
2 Tbsp margarine or butter
2 tsp vanilla
bananas
wafers

Steps:

  • 1. Blend sugar, cornstarch and salt. Combine milk and egg yolks and gradually add to sugar mixture. Put in microwave safe dish and cook in 2 minute intervals, stirring "hard" after each with wire whisk.
  • 2. Once mixture begins to thicken, then cook in 1 minute intervals until desired consistency; remembering to stir after each minute. Stir in butter and vanilla.
  • 3. Layer between bananas and wafers. Great warm or cold.
