Mexican Shrimp Cocktail image

My daughter had this in a restaurant and went home and figured out the recipe. This looks really nice served in martini glasses.

Number Of Ingredients 11

3 pound(s) large shrimp, shelled, deveined and cooked
3 - haas avocados, chopped
3 - plum tomatoes, chopped
1 medium red onion, chopped
1 large clove of garlic, minced
1/4 jar(s) jalapeno peppers, chopped
1 bunch(es) cilantro, chopped
- the juice of 2 limes
1 large can of tomato juice
2-3 teaspoon(s) chili powder, according to your taste
- salt to taste

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
