MAULED APPLE CIDER
Enjoy this spooky twist on "mulled" apple cider for Halloween. Apples are studded with whole cloves, which float at the top of this spiced beverage that also includes orange zest and cinnamon sticks. When the weather becomes bone-chillingly breezy, this hot and haunted sip is sure to warm you up.

- Press 4 cloves into each lady apple. Place cider, cinnamon, orange zest, and studded lady apples in a large pot, and warm over medium-low heat. Let steep for 1 1/2 hours, without boiling, until aromatic and flavorful.
