Matcha Green Tea Shake (SUPER HEALTHY) image

With 137 times more antioxidant power than the conventional cup of green tea, Matcha green tea kicks tea butt. You would need 10 cups of normal green tea to equal the strength of 1 cup of Matcha. POW! Resulting in 25% more fat burn throughout the day, Matcha increases thermogenesis (calorie burning) from 8%-10% to 35%-43% of your daily expenditure. Matcha achieves all this simply because the tea dissolves the entire leaf into your cup rather than the steeped cup of tea where you would in turn discard the remaining leaves. Well? There's one thing left to do. Make yummy recipies! Cheers!

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 tablespoon(s) matcha green tea powder
1 tablespoon(s) local honey
1 cup(s) almond milk
Handful - ice cubes
1 scoop(s) vanilla protein powder (optional)

Steps:

  • First, if you decide to make this a protein drink, do not add honey. Add only to preference.
  • Add all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. You may have to scrape powder off sides of the blender as Matcha and protein powder is very fine and continue blending until dissolved.
  • If you're a fitness junky like me, you can add 1 tsp of creatine monohydrate to amp it up. 1-2 tsp is the recommended daily value. 1 tsp equaling 5gm.
