Mary's Cranberry Salad image

Mary the resident at work who makes the coutch tissure holders gave me this recipe for Cranberry salad. I will be making it for thanks giving so will post a picture then.

Number Of Ingredients 6

12-16 ounce(s) 1 bag fresh cranberries
1-2 cup(s) sugar ( depends on how many cranberries and their tartness)
1 pint(s) cool whip
1 clove(s) small crushed pineapple
1/2 cup(s) chopped walnuts
4 cup(s) white mini marshmallows

Steps:

  • Chop or grind cranberries add sugar, cover and let sit in fridge 6 hours or overnight.
  • Next day, Beat whipping cream (if using or add coolwhip to a large bowl.
  • To the whipped cream, add the nuts, drained pineapple, and the cranberry mixture from last night. Mix well, cover and let sit in fridge at least 6 hours before serving.
