Marshmallow Fluff Surprise Dessert By Freda image

Just Learned This recipe Came from the StageCoach in CookBook, and also from a restaurant in Columbia, Calif, & The Owner's grandfather's Diary dated back to 1934-1935. Needs to Chill and set for several Hrs. NO COOKING Required. No Baking. only 5 ingredients. Serves about 6 servings

Number Of Ingredients 6

1/2 lb miniature marshmallows
1/2 C chopped nuts
1/2 C marachino cherry juice
1/4 C chopped pineapple (fresh or canned) drained but not dry.
1/4 C chopped marachino cherries
1/2 C heavy whipping cream

Steps:

  • 1. Soak the Marshmallows overnight in the Cherry Juice.
  • 2. Whip cream, then Add to Marshmallow Mixture, with the Pineapple and nuts. Chill Several Hrs. (4 hrs at least) Serve in Dessert Dishes. (OPTIONAL) Top with a Marashino Cherry with a stem, and a Sprinkle of Chopped Nuts.
