Maroon Bells Cheese Ball image

My neighbor gave me her recipe. It is always a hit at parties. Goes well with wine.

Number Of Ingredients 5

8 or 10 oz package(s) white cheddar cheese, grated
1/3 cup(s) small white onion; grated
2 tablespoon(s) mayonnaise
1/2 cup(s) raspberry preserves or more, to taste
- tip: place cheese in freezer for 5-10 minutes before grating !

Steps:

  • In mixing bowl, combine grated cheese and onion. Mix well. Blend in mayonnaise. Form into a ball & refrigerate for several hours. Place on cheese plate. Pour preserves on top before serving with your favorite crackers.
