1/2 lb. sliced fresh mushrooms
2 stalks celery, sliced
2 onions, cut into wedges
1 green pepper, cut into strips
4 cloves garlic, minced
6 bone-in skinless chicken thighs (2 lb.)
3/4 cup fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth
2 Tbsp. MINUTE Tapioca
1 tsp. dried oregano leaves
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
2 cups CLASSICO Marinara with Plum Tomatoes & Olive Oil Pasta Sauce

Steps:

  • Combine first 5 ingredients in slow cooker sprayed with cooking spray; top with chicken. Mix broth, tapioca, oregano and black pepper until blended; pour over chicken. Cover with lid.
  • Cook on LOW 6 to 7 hours (or on HIGH 3 to 3-1/2 hours).
  • Remove chicken from slow cooker, reserving liquid in slow cooker; cover chicken to keep warm. Add pasta sauce to slow cooker; mix well. Cook, covered, on HIGH 15 min. Serve over chicken.
