Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350* Melt butter in 8" non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Add the maple syrup and arrange the pear in the base of the pan. Cook for 5-6 minutes or until soft; remove from heat. Roll out pastry dough and cut enough pastry to cover pan interior. Bake tart 20-25 minutes or until golden and puffed. Let stand 2 minutes. Invert on to plates and serve w/whipped cream or ice cream.
