Number Of Ingredients 7

1 large egg
3/4 cup(s) sugar
1/2 cup(s) butter, softened
2 cup(s) all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon(s) baking soda
2 teaspoon(s) ice water
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Cream together the egg, sugar, and butter.
  • Add flour, baking soda, ice water and vanilla and mix well.
  • Divide into 2 portions, roll out and cut with a cookie cutter.
  • Bake at 350 until very lightly browned. For crispy cookies, roll thinly. For softer cookies, make them a little thicker. Store in a well-sealed container. Warning: these will go quickly, so you better make 2 batches!
