Low-Fat Creamed Tuna on Toast image

Very tasty and you sure can't get much quicker. I didn't add any milk at all, but just added the tuna with it's water and used some fresh mushrooms, just chopped them up and tossed them in. One other thing I did differently and that was to use Stove Top stuffing in place of bread. Served with a side of fresh green salad and dinner was a hit.

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 can(s) (10 ounce) low-fat cream of mushroom soup
1 can(s) (4 ounce) mushroom stems and pieces (drained)
1 cup(s) frozen green peas
2 can(s) (3 oz each) tuna in water (drained)
10 ounce(s) fat free milk (1 soup can full)
1 teaspoon(s) dried dill weed or dried herb of choice
1/2 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
- cracked pepper to taste
8 slice(s) whole grain bread, toasted

Steps:

  • In sauce pan, add all ingredients. Stir continually over medium heat till warmed through.
  • Serve over toast.
