LIME OR LEMON CHIFFON PIE image

Number Of Ingredients 7

4 egg yolks
1 can sweet condensed milk
1/2 c lime or lemon juice
6 egg whites
1/3 t salt
1/2 c sugar
9 inch baked pie shell

Steps:

  • Beat egg yolks till lemon colored. Stir in milk juice and salt, blending well. In separate bowl, beat egg whites until foamy, grad add sugar and continue beating until it sands in peaks. fold. 1/2 meringueinto egg yolk mixtureand pour into pie shell. Cover top with remainingmeringue. Bake in 400 degree oven for 8-10 minutes or until brown.
