LENTIL AND RICE CASSEROLE image

Number Of Ingredients 9

3C vegetable broth
3/4 C lentils
1 C brown rice
3/4C onion
1C red wine (cab/merlot)
1/2 tsp. basil/thyme/oregano/salt (ea.)
1/4 tsp. black pepper
dash of garlic powder
4 oz. shredded cheese (mont. jack) (1/2 in mix, 1/2 on top @ end)

Steps:

  • •put all ingredients into casserole dish with lid and mix •bake at 350 for 1 1/2 to 2 hrs, stirring every once in a while •sprinkle cheese on top when serving
