Lemon Pound Cake image

The BEST lemon pound cake recipe ever !! The apricot nectar makes it sooo moist..

1 box lemon supreme cake mix
1 c apricot nectar
3/4 c canola oil
4 large eggs
1/2 c sugar
1 c confectioners' sugar ( for icing )
1 lemon ( for icing )

Steps:

  • 1. Prheat oven 325 degrees Combine cake mix, sugar, oil and nectar. Add one egg at time beating well after each. Pour in a well greased and floured bundt or tube cake pan. Bake about one hour or until done. Let cool in pan about 5 mins and then turn out on cake plate. Drizzle icing while still warm
  • 2. Icing Mix 1 cup of confection sugar with the juice of 1 lemon. Mix well and drizzle over warm cake.
