Lemon Pesto Chicken image

pasta tossed with chicken and topped with a delicious creamy pesto sauce

Number Of Ingredients 7

2 Tbsp olive oil
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
2 Tbsp lemon juice
1 1/2 c milk
1 package of knorr creamy pesto sauce mix
1/2 c grated parmesan cheese
8 oz pasta, cooked and drained

Steps:

  • 1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and brown the chicken, stirring occasionally.
  • 2. Stir in lemon juice and cook for 1 minute.
  • 3. Stir in milk and sauce mix and bring to a boil.
  • 4. Stir in cheese.
  • 5. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally until chicken is thoroughly cooked, about 3 minutes.
  • 6. Toss sauce with hot pasta.
