Yield 4 People

Number Of Ingredients 14

20-28 Fresh whole chicken wings
1 Lemon
1/3 cup dry white wine
1/3 cup olive oil
3 tbsp brown sugar
1 sprig fresh rosemary
1 sprig fresh thyme
4 cloves garlic minced
1 cup butter
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp fresh ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Night before: Marinade: Remove tips from chicken wings and reserve for future use for stock. Combine juice from one lemon w/ wine, oil oil, brown sugar. Strip leaves from rosemary and thyme and add along with minced garlic to marinade. Put wings and marinade in a plastic bag and refrigerate overnight. Sauce: Melt butter and add garlic powder, onion power, and pepper. Refrigerate sauce mixture. At the game: In a small saucepan heat sauce on the grill. Then arrange marinated wings and grill, turning frequently, until almost done (20-25 minutes). Dip each wing in melted sauce, return to grill, and sprinkle liberally with Parmesan cheese.
