A compilation of various recipes using leftover lamb or beef. Leftover mashed potatoes and veggies can be used to. Amounts are flexible depending on what you have. This makes a lot of sauce.

1 lb leftover lamb or 1 lb beef
1 (10 ounce) can mushroom soup
1 (10 ounce) jar mushroom gravy
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 tablespoon Kitchen Bouquet
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 (10 ounce) can peas and carrots, drained
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups prepared mashed potatoes

Steps:

  • Combine soup, gravy and seasonings. Add meat and half the cheese. Spread in a greased 8x10 casserole dish.
  • Cook potatoes according to pkg directions.
  • add remaing cup of cheese to potatoes.
  • spread potatoes on top of meat mixture.
  • Bake at 400* for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
